Vindea sau \u00eemprumuta c\u0103r\u0163i, organiza s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2nal \u00eentruniri literare, lecturi publice, serb\u0103ri, era o animatoare a vie\u0163ii culturale pariziene. Prin libr\u0103ria ei au trecut James Joyce, Ezra Pound, Paul Val\u00e9ry, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, Walter Benjamin etc. \u00cen acela\u015fi timp, Adrienne Monnier era foarte simpatizat\u0103 de rom\u00e2ni pentru sufletul ei binevoitor&#8230;<br \/>\nLa sf\u00e2r\u015fitul anilor \u201930, studen\u0163ii rom\u00e2ni se \u00eent\u00e2lneau frecvent \u00een biblioteca ei. Erau s\u0103raci \u015fi puteau citi f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 pl\u0103teasc\u0103. Printre vizitatori, Mariana \u015eora l-a observat \u00een c\u00e2teva r\u00e2nduri \u015fi pe Constantin Noica. Nu-l simpatiza.<br \/>\nFilosoful citea dup\u0103 o metod\u0103 original\u0103: \u00een ordinea alfabetic\u0103 a autorilor, ca Autodidactul lui Sartre, dar f\u0103r\u0103 instinctul lui enciclopedic. Nu mi-l \u00eenchipui r\u0103sfoind reviste despre cre\u015fterea cailor sau romane de dragoste. \u00cen definitiv, Noica nu putea citi dec\u00e2t filosofi. Transcriu un fragment din volumul Marianei \u015eora (1917-2011), O via\u0163\u0103-n buc\u0103\u0163i, (Editura Cartea Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103, 1992, p. 103.) Nu \u00eenainte de a preciza c\u0103 Mariana \u015eora a p\u0103r\u0103sit Rom\u00e2nia \u00een 1977 \u015fi a tr\u0103it p\u00e2n\u0103 la sf\u00e2r\u015fitul vie\u0163ii (a murit la 94 de ani) la M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201ePe Dinu Noica arareori \u015fi numai \u00een treac\u0103t l-am mai rev\u0103zut la Paris. Exista \u00eens\u0103 pe vremea aceea printre nenum\u0103ratele libr\u0103rii ale Cartierului Latin una deosebit de atr\u0103g\u0103toare pentru c\u0103rturari&#8230; Era o libr\u0103rie-bibliotec\u0103, \u00een rue de l\u2019Od\u00e9on, \u00eei zicea dac\u0103 nu m\u0103-n\u015fel Les amis du livre, \u0163inut\u0103 de o anumit\u0103 mademoiselle Monnier, care legalizase, ca s\u0103 zic a\u015fa, obiceiul \u00eenveterat de a l\u0103sa clien\u0163ii s\u0103 r\u0103sfoiasc\u0103 pe \u00eendelete c\u0103r\u0163ile, ba chiar s\u0103 le citeasc\u0103 netulbura\u0163i. Acolo, meteahna aceasta de amator f\u0103r\u0103 inten\u0163ii serioase sau f\u0103r\u0103 posibilit\u0103\u0163i de a achizi\u0163iona ce-l interesa nu se practica oarecum pe furate, dimpotriv\u0103, era institu\u0163ionalizat\u0103. Mai mult: se \u00eemprumutau c\u0103r\u0163i acas\u0103. C\u00e2nd urma s\u0103 se \u00eenapoieze \u00een \u0163ar\u0103, \u015fi-a exprimat marea p\u0103rere de r\u0103u: ajunsese cu lectura la litera C.\u201d<br \/>\nNu bag m\u00e2na \u00een foc pentru autenticitatea literal\u0103 a relat\u0103rii. Alegoric \u00eens\u0103, ea este riguros adev\u0103rat\u0103.<br \/>\nCa orice filosof, Noica dispre\u0163uia \u00eent\u00e2mplarea, dezordinea, lipsa de metod\u0103. Se r\u0103fuia cu haosul. Nu s-ar fi l\u0103sat niciodat\u0103 \u00een voia hazardului. A\u015fa cum un filosof pune ordine \u00een lucruri (fiindc\u0103 nu o g\u0103se\u015fte niciodat\u0103 acolo), el \u00eencerca spontan s\u0103-\u015fi pun\u0103 ordine \u00een via\u0163\u0103 \u015fi \u00een propriile-i lecturi. Proceda riguros prec\u00e2t \u00eei st\u0103 omului \u00een putin\u0163\u0103. Este aproape imposibil. C\u0103r\u0163ile nu pot fi niciodat\u0103 clasificate \u00eentr-un chip mul\u0163umitor. \u00cen treac\u0103t fie zis, clasificarea zecimal\u0103 folosit\u0103 \u00een biblioteci este perfect arbitrar\u0103. S\u0103 nu mai vorbim de lucruri. Acolo domnesc de la bun \u00eenceput harababura, confuzia. Dac\u0103 domeniul de r\u00e2nduit este nelimitat, orice clasificare este \u00een chip necesar aproximativ\u0103. Doar elementele chimice (\u00een num\u0103r finit) se pot clasifica f\u0103r\u0103 rest. \u015ei mineralele, dac\u0103 nu m\u0103 \u00een\u015fel&#8230;<br \/>\nA\u015fa \u00eemi explic modul bizar \u00een care citea Noica. Nu urma criteriul preferin\u0163elor, al simpatiilor, \u00eel st\u0103p\u00e2nea duhul completitudinii. Un filosof nu accept\u0103 simpatii \u015fi antipatii. Voia s\u0103 fie exhaustiv, s\u0103 acopere domeniul metafizicii, s\u0103 nu omit\u0103 nici un nume, nici un titlu important. \u015ei \u00eendoiala lui Descartes este hiperbolic\u0103: ea cuprinde orice opinie \u015fi sf\u00e2r\u015fe\u015fte prin a-l\u00a0 prinde \u00een plas\u0103 \u015fi pe Descartes, p\u0103ianjenul metafizic.<br \/>\nOrdinea alfabetic\u0103 este, \u00een primul r\u00e2nd, o ordine a accesului (precar\u0103 ca toate ordinile, repet) \u015fi o garan\u0163ie (minim\u0103) c\u0103 nu vei omite nimic, c\u0103 vei epuiza totul. Dac\u0103 urmezi alfabetul, accesul la un autor, la un pasaj este mai rapid. \u015ei nu-\u0163i scap\u0103 nimic. Cu acest g\u00e2nd a propus \u015fi a aplicat Alanus de Insulis ordo alphabetica spre mirarea indignat\u0103 a sf\u00e2ntului Bernard. Mult\u0103 vreme filosofia a fost \u00een\u0163eleas\u0103 ca o teorie a Ordinii, a tipurilor de Ordine, \u015fi ca o instituire a ei \/ lor. Pentru Noica, a citi autorii \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu litera A (\u00een speran\u0163a c\u0103 va ajunge c\u00e2ndva la Z \u015fi va \u00eenchide cercul bibliografic) \u00eensemna a proceda metodic, kantian, minu\u0163ios. \u015ei, ca s\u0103 fiu drept, este dificil (aproape imposibil) s\u0103 str\u0103ba\u0163i cele trei litere (A-B-C), numai operele lui Aristotel \u015fi ale comentatorilor s\u0103i al c\u0103ror nume \u00eencepe cu A (Adrastos, Alexandros de Aphrodisia, Ammonius, Aspasius, Asclepios etc.) \u00ee\u0163i iau c\u00e2teva luni bune, dac\u0103 nu cel pu\u0163in un an. P\u00e2n\u0103 s\u0103 ajungi la Henri Bergson (care \u015fi el a avut comentatori), termini bursa de studii. P\u00e2n\u0103 s\u0103 ajungi la Camus \u015fi Confucius, e\u015fti deja profesor titular sau prime\u015fti domiciliu obligatoriu, sau ajungi la \u00eenchisoare, unde nu-i ai dec\u00e2t pe Clasici.<br \/>\nSigur, Noica avea oarecari \u00eensu\u015firi donquijotice, sem\u0103na un pic \u015fi cu Petru\u015fka, \u015fi cu Benedikt, dar din prea mult\u0103 iubire de ordine (vanitate n-a avut niciodat\u0103).
