Ambele proze, complementare, stilistic \u015fi con\u0163inutistic, privilegiaz\u0103 inser\u0163iile (auto)biografice pe liniamentul unor povestiri \u00een esen\u0163\u0103 rememorative. Pe canavaua universalei, dar \u015fi complicatei probleme a cuplului uman se schi\u0163eaz\u0103, cum suntem aten\u0163iona\u0163i \u00een \u00cen loc de prefa\u0163\u0103, \u201eo fresc\u0103 social-politic\u0103 \u015fi psihologic\u0103 a tronsoanelor temporale tr\u0103ite de eroi\u201c. Or, \u00een povestea dramatic\u0103 a acestora se deta\u015feaz\u0103 \u2013 ca \u00eentr-un basorelief sui-generis \u2013 aceea\u015fi protagonist\u0103 care, la persoana \u00eent\u00e2i, utilizeaz\u0103 tonul eminamente confesiv, reiterat de altfel \u015fi \u00eentr-un alt volum recent, Confesiuni necenzurate (Eikon, 2014). \u00cen romanele propriu-zise urm\u0103rim dou\u0103 tipuri de rela\u0163ii sentimentale. \u00cen fiecare dintre acestea, consumate de-a lungul a dou\u0103 decenii \u00een \u0163ar\u0103 \u015fi nu numai, franche\u0163ea, sinceritatea atinge cote greu de surmontat: \u201es\u0103 iube\u015fti doi b\u0103rba\u0163i \u015fi s\u0103 fii iubit\u0103 de am\u00e2ndoi, s\u0103 te zba\u0163i \u00een mla\u015ftina nehot\u0103r\u00e2rii, a remu\u015fc\u0103rii, a dorului, a frustr\u0103rilor alternative \u015fi a complexelor de vinov\u0103\u0163ie\u201c se preface \u00eentr-o situa\u0163ie insuportabil\u0103 ca \u015fi, alternativ, \u201edac\u0103 o c\u0103snicie ar fi liniar\u0103\u201c, pentru c\u0103 \u201eplictisul ucide cu prioritate \u015fi te apuc\u0103 nu doar lehamitea, ci \u015fi dezn\u0103dejdea\u201c. Or, \u201ecaii destinului\u201c conduc p\u00e2n\u0103 la urm\u0103 spre un final stenic emo\u0163ionant trec\u00e2nd peste boal\u0103 \u015fi moarte. Pe aceast\u0103 urzeal\u0103 cu numeroase intarsiuri participative, chiar lirice (poemele din Flori de col\u0163, Eikon, 2011, fiind un atare exemplu), se grefeaz\u0103 un veritabil panopticum istorico-social. Imaginea, rememorat\u0103, a modelului patern \u00een primul r\u00e2nd, drama mamei, ata\u015famentul fa\u0163\u0103 de Studioul de Radio Cluj, cu incizii amare referitoare la comportamentul moral al noilor angaja\u0163i dup\u0103 redeschiderea, dramatic\u0103, a institu\u0163iei transilvane ori scena, desenat\u0103 de-a dreptul \u00een c\u0103rbune, cu atitudinea vame\u015filor autohtoni la intrarea \u00een Rom\u00e2nia ar fi putut alc\u0103tui \u015fi un fundal socio-istoric mai amplu articulat dat\u0103 fiind restitu\u0163ia \u2013 f\u0103r\u0103 fard \u015fi cu talent satiric \u2013 a acestor e\u015fantioane din v\u00e2rsta postcomunist\u0103 a Rom\u00e2niei. Liantul secven\u0163elor amintite, la care s-ar putea ad\u0103uga \u015fi altele, este dimensiunea etic\u0103 ce acompaniaz\u0103 ambele straturi ale prozelor, respectiv sinuozit\u0103\u0163ile cuplurilor \u015fi evocarea trecutului autohton recent. De aici apelul, poate \u00een exces, la maximele extrase din filosofi, litera\u0163i, muzicieni \u015f.a. imprim\u00e2nd anumitor paragrafe un caracter de-a dreptul eseistic \u2013 rezultatul, de fapt, al unui intelectual rasat, pe care \u00eel recunoa\u015ftem mai ales \u00een cartea-interviu cu Dumitru Constantin-Dulcan, medic neurolog \u015fi psihiatru, autorul studiului Inteligen\u0163a materiei (1981). Astfel, juxtapunerea posibil\u0103, de c\u0103tre cititor, a numeroaselor referiri, extrase ori comentarii sintetice din Sf. Augustin (\u201ev\u0103d binele, dar totu\u015fi urmez r\u0103ul\u201c), Spinoza (causa causei sui) la descoperirile lui Emoto Masaru din Mesaje ascunse \u00een ap\u0103 \u015f.a. dubleaz\u0103 stratul propriu-zis fic\u0163ional at\u00e2t \u00een Caii destinului, c\u00e2t \u015fi \u00een Clipa de catifea. \u00cen acela\u015fi timp, prezen\u0163a dimensiunii religioase ocrotitoare, dar \u015fi interesul m\u0103rturisit \u00een mod constant pentru filosofia \u015ftiin\u0163ei \u015fi disciplinele psihologice asociate, cum remarcam, cu voluptatea cit\u0103rii\/ parafraz\u0103rii din Pascal sau Francisc d\u2019Assisi, la care se adaug\u0103 practica de reporter radio particularizeaz\u0103 fluen\u0163a, oralitatea unui stil ce, cultivat cu persuasiune, poate conduce la dilu\u0163ie narativ\u0103, la asta contribuind \u015fi aplecarea, reiterat\u0103 \u015fi ea, spre liricizarea discursului epic. Dac\u0103 temele tratate sunt clasice (istoria cuplului, generic vorbind), prin mul\u0163imea intarsiurilor culturale cele dou\u0103 proze pot fi revendicate \u2013 la modul desigur asimptotic \u2013 de scriitura de factur\u0103 postmodern\u0103.
