Parc\u0103 \u00eentr-o succesiune de \u201ecadre\u201c, labirintul etaleaz\u0103 tablouri m\u0103cinate de v\u0103dite inchietudini profund thanatice. Ipostaze sepia, \u201efin de si\u010dcle\u201c, mai \u00eendulcesc (cu accentuat\u0103 concupiscen\u0163\u0103) aceast\u0103 atmosfer\u0103 terminal\u0103: \u201em\u0103 g\u00e2ndesc c\u0103 la lipova\/ trebuie s\u0103 fi fost pe vremuri\/ \u015fi un bordel cu nem\u0163oaice blajine,\/ care \u015ftiau s\u0103 c\u00e2nte la pian valsul m\u0103garilor\/ \u015fi ascultau r\u0103bd\u0103tor povestea t\u00e2mplarului v\u0103duv,\/ a adolescentului ne\u00een\u0163eles de p\u0103rin\u0163i\/ sau a birta\u015fului \u00een\u015felat de nevast\u0103.\/ \u00cen salon se beau probabil rachiuri de cas\u0103,\/ iar fetele tricotau, sorbind \u00een t\u0103cere ve\u015ftile de la viena sau\/ pesta aduse de vreun surugiu obosit,\/ care mirosea a sudoare de cal \u015fi le d\u0103ruia mar\u0163ipan\u201c. E vorba de fine transfigur\u0103ri ale realului, din umbra cercului hermetic. \u201e\u00cengerul ocrotitor al jimboliei\/ ar putea fi\/ petre stoica\u201c, spune Octavian Soviany rev\u0103rs\u00e2nd \u201eun potop de simpatii\u201c pentru marele poet. Alt\u0103 fa\u0163et\u0103 a acestor meandre const\u0103 \u00een desantul poetic de la Telciu. Dintre multiplele ipostaze, re\u0163inem durul impact morfeic: \u201e(&#8230;) iar o\/ m\u0103nu\u015f\u0103\/ portocalie de\/ box m\u0103\/ izbe\u015fte violent \u00een\/ b\u0103rbie.\/ Somnul e \/ cel mai bun\/ prieten al\/ omului\u201c sau o specie de estetizare f\u0103r\u0103 rest: \u201eAcum\/ \u00eentre buzele mele\/ \u015fi buzele tale\/ e ceva albicios \u015fi fragil ca\/ rotula unui copil\u201c. \u00cent\u00e2lnirile poetice vor purta mereu pece\u0163i alchimizante, perpetue \u00eendr\u0103gostiri de esen\u0163\u0103. Transfigur\u0103rile\u00a0 au farmecul tainelor abia intuite. Sinteza livrescului cu \u201evia\u0163a care se vie\u0163uie\u015fte\u201c poten\u0163eaz\u0103 atmosfera din C\u0103lc\u00e2iul lui Magellan. Spenglerianul \u201eDer Untergang des Abendlandes\u201c \u00eent\u00e2lne\u015fte, morganatic, umbra lui Aubrey de Vere din \u201eapa neagr\u0103 a Spreei\u201c. Tablourile beneficiaz\u0103 de abord\u0103ri ekphrastice, cu dorin\u0163a evad\u0103rii dincolo de angoasele cotropitoare. Luxurian\u0163a lui Rousseau Le Douanier poate corespunde buc\u0103\u0163ilor tr\u0103itoare \u00een prezentul volum. Ne situ\u0103m sub falnice bol\u0163i fascinatorii, animate jugendstil. Din c\u00e2nd \u00een c\u00e2nd, iubirea \u015fi func\u0163ia ei soteriologic\u0103: \u201eMi-ar pl\u0103cea\/ s\u0103 am o iubit\u0103\/ pe care s-o cheme\/ maria gr\u00fcn,\/ s\u0103 poarte o rochie\/ cusut\u0103 din frunze\/ \u015fi s\u0103 aib\u0103 tot timpul \u00een\/ buzunar\/ ni\u015fte fructe proaspete de\/ p\u0103dure.\/ Ce bine ar fi\/ s\u0103 te cheme maria gr\u00fcn!\/ \u015ei s\u0103 ai sub p\u00e2ntece\/ o ghind\u0103 de stejar\/ cafenie.\/ At\u00e2t:\/ doar o ghind\u0103\/ cafenie \u015fi\/ de stejar\u201c. O viziune \u00eempreun\u0103 cu Marx reinterpreteaz\u0103 circumstan\u0163ele scrierii celebrului manifest, sim\u0163urile fiind dereglate sistemic: \u201eTe clatini pu\u0163in\/ dup\u0103 prima \u0163igar\u0103 cu\/ marijuana,\/ iar degetele tale ating,\/ ca \u00een ultima \u00eensemnare a\/ annei frank,\/ marginea de\/ miaz\u0103noapte a\/ lumii.\/ Treci fardat\u0103 \u00een\/ culorile\/ clubului ajax\/ pe l\u00e2ng\u0103\/ un portal de biseric\u0103\/ \u015fi din\/ urechile tale\/ at\u00e2rn\u0103\/ fructe ro\u015fii de coac\u0103z. Doar aici \u00eei putem \u00eent\u00e2lni pe Van Gogh, Kafka, Sherlock Holmes, Van Eick sau Regina Victoria, incontestabile proiec\u0163ii, undeva \u00eentre noapte \u015fi zi. Aura sf\u00e2r\u015fitului de lume \u00eenv\u0103luie esen\u0163a versurilor lui Octavian Soviany, registru obscur caracteristic familiei de spirite a poe\u0163ilor blestema\u0163i ce dau \u00eentrist\u0103rii propor\u0163ii radicale. Aparentele relax\u0103ri au \u00een proximitate acela\u015fi spectru angoasant, deja obi\u015fnuit. Fluxul inspira\u0163iei se raporteaz\u0103 aproape \u00een permanen\u0163\u0103 la diversitatea ambientului, astfel fiind create vise, imagini penetrante raliate experien\u0163ei onirice.
