Are acela\u015fi aspect diversificat tematic \u015fi stilistic ca \u00een volumele Cuvinte potrivite (1927) sau Una sut\u0103 una poeme (1947). \u00centotdeauna poetul a scris simultan \u00een mai multe stiluri, a adoptat mai multe tonalit\u0103\u0163i, \u015fi-a diversificat temele \u015fi tipurile de versifica\u0163ie. Multiplicarea atitudinilor fa\u0163\u0103 de lume, fa\u0163\u0103 de om \u015fi ale poetului fa\u0163\u0103 de sine \u00eensu\u015fi \u0163ine de esen\u0163a arghezianismului. Lumile \u015fi stilurile paralele persist\u0103 \u00eentr-o structur\u0103 ireductibil\u0103 la dinamica simpl\u0103 a unei dualit\u0103\u0163i sau a unei polarit\u0103\u0163i.<br \/>\nContradic\u0163iile interne nu pot fi reduse la doi termeni, dup\u0103 cum explor\u0103rile lumii \u015fi exprimarea lor poetic\u0103 nu au doar dou\u0103 sensuri, ci urmeaz\u0103 direc\u0163ii multiple. Psalmul, fabula, pamfletul politic, medita\u0163ia religioas\u0103, anecdoticul, miniaturalul, pastelul, inscrip\u0163iile laconice alterneaz\u0103 sau se intersecteaz\u0103. Natur\u0103, om, societate, transcenden\u0163\u0103, iubire, singur\u0103tate etc. sunt prezente simultan \u00een con\u015ftiin\u0163a poetului, transpuse \u00een cele mai diverse forme de versifica\u0163ie.<br \/>\nUniversul mic (furnicile), fiin\u0163ele apropiate \u00een sfera domestic\u0103 (pisicile, c\u00e2inii, p\u0103s\u0103rile de curte) st\u00e2rnesc o duio\u015fie imprevizibil\u0103, pe care nu i-am putea-o b\u0103nui poetului dac\u0103 nu am cunoa\u015fte-o din manifest\u0103rile anterioare. Marea revolt\u0103 sau marea deprimare arghezian\u0103 din anii interdic\u0163iei postbelice se reflect\u0103 sau se consoleaz\u0103 \u00een lumea din preajm\u0103. Evenimentele din universul domestic sunt \u015fi ele str\u0103b\u0103tute de bucurii \u015fi drame. C\u0103\u0163elu\u015ful ar trebui \u015fi el s\u0103 se \u00eembrace, ce orice om, dac\u0103 nu ar avea at\u00e2tea dificult\u0103\u0163i \u00een a-\u015fi adapta croiul hainelor la obiceiurile lui. Edi\u0163ia de la Arad gre\u015fe\u015fte c\u00e2te pu\u0163in \u00een fiecare poem, at\u00e2t c\u00e2t s\u0103-l ciobeasc\u0103. \u00cen poemul Cu\u0163u primul vers din strofa a treia nu e citit complet, ci e redat \u00een forma ciuntit\u0103 \u201eDac\u0103-i pe jum\u0103tate\u201c, \u00een loc de \u201eDac\u0103-i om pe jum\u0103tate\u201c. \u00cen strofa a patra, la versurile 3-4, Arghezi face un semn de inversiune \u00een manuscris, opt\u00e2nd pentru ordinea lor a\u015fa cum am transcris-o aici (edi\u0163ia de la Arad le red\u0103 \u00een ordinea 4-3). \u00cen poemul despre pisica Bi\u0163a (nefinisat de autor), edi\u0163ia de la Arad nu respect\u0103 c\u00e2teva variante fonetice specific argheziene: \u201eginga\u015fe\u201c (\u00een primul vers, \u00een loc de \u201eginga\u015f\u0103\u201c) \u015fi \u201em\u0103tasa\u201c (\u00een loc de \u201em\u0103tasea\u201c). \u00cen final, nu delimiteaz\u0103 strofa de cinci versuri de cea anterioar\u0103, de trei versuri, f\u0103c\u00e2nd un bloc de opt versuri. Am mai spus \u015fi alt\u0103 dat\u0103: organizarea pe strofe este la Arghezi riguroas\u0103.<br \/>\nPoemul Furnicile este transcris total aiurea \u00een edi\u0163ia de la Arad. Poetul a scris \u00een dreptul strofelor un num\u0103r de ordine, alta dec\u00e2t cea a elabor\u0103rii \u00een manuscris. Editorii de la Arad transcriu \u015fi cifrele, dar se \u00eencurc\u0103 la strofa concluziv\u0103, pe care, nefiind numerotat\u0103 (pentru c\u0103 nu mai era nevoie), o a\u015faz\u0103 dup\u0103 strofa a doua, stric\u00e2nd construc\u0163ia discursului poetic, foarte limpede, de altfel. Nu delimiteaz\u0103 strofele \u00een c\u00e2te patru versuri, unit\u0103\u0163i foarte bine elaborate \u015fi separate \u00een manuscris. \u00cen versul al treilea citesc \u201efamiliile\u201c, \u00een loc de \u201efemeile\u201c, stric\u00e2nd ritmul. \u00cen poemul Piciu, totul ar fi aproape bine, dac\u0103 nu ar fi uitat, pur \u015fi simplu, ultimul vers, f\u0103r\u0103 de care, bine\u00een\u0163eles, poemul nu e \u00eentreg, r\u0103mas cu un final suspendat, eliptic.
