Este impresia \u015fi locul preferat al multora. Cineva vrea s\u0103 coboare \u015fi \u00eei face observa\u0163ie b\u0103tr\u00e2nei. Ea \u00eei r\u0103spunde, vexat\u0103: \u201eN-ai loc de mine?\u201d<br \/>\nO privesc mai atent. Poart\u0103 o broboad\u0103, o bluz\u0103 de trening \u015fi o scurt\u0103 de f\u00e2\u015f, fust\u0103 \u015fi adida\u015fi. Dar are ceva ancestral \u2013 \u015fi \u00eemi dau seama c\u0103, de\u015fi hainele sunt urbane \u015fi contemporane, combina\u0163ia lor \u015fi \u00eenf\u0103\u0163i\u015farea final\u0103 sunt pur \u0163\u0103r\u0103ne\u015fti.<br \/>\nDe la \u0163ar\u0103 s\u0103 fie? De la ora\u015f? Hainele sale nu mai sunt cele de la \u0163ar\u0103 \u015fi nu apar\u0163in \u00eenc\u0103 ora\u015fului.<br \/>\nNe-am putea imagina c\u0103 ele spun povestea multora dintre concitadinii no\u015ftri, poate a majorit\u0103\u0163ii. A oamenilor c\u00e2ndva veni\u0163i de la \u0163ar\u0103, odat\u0103 cu marile str\u0103mut\u0103ri aduse de industrializarea deceniilor trecute, dar \u00eenc\u0103 incomplet adapta\u0163i vie\u0163ii urbei. Poate c\u0103 aceast\u0103 adaptare nu s-a mai produs, de fapt, niciodat\u0103, iar mul\u0163i am r\u0103mas prin\u015fi, unii la a doua sau la a treia genera\u0163ie la ora\u015f, \u00eentre dou\u0103 moduri de via\u0163\u0103. Iar aceast\u0103 stare de tranzi\u0163ie a devenit ea \u00eens\u0103\u015fi mod de via\u0163\u0103 \u015fi define\u015fte comportamentul de azi \u2013 de pild\u0103, \u015fi cel mai frapant, al Bucure\u015ftilor, peste care provincia s-a rev\u0103rsat cu adev\u0103rat cople\u015fitor.<br \/>\nUnele obiceiuri par s\u0103 dezv\u0103luie condi\u0163ia celor bloca\u0163i \u00eentre dou\u0103 lumi. Hainele b\u0103tr\u00e2nei \u00een contrast cu rezultatul lor final, dar \u015fi alegerea acelui loc ambiguu din autobuz, implic\u00e2nd o rela\u0163ie personal\u0103 cu aceia care urc\u0103 ori coboar\u0103, ca la \u0163ar\u0103, unde toat\u0103 lumea se cunoa\u015fte, iar lucrurile se negocieaz\u0103 din om \u00een om \u2013 contrariind regulile \u015fi fluxurile or\u0103\u015fene\u015fti, care, func\u0163ionale, nu interfereaz\u0103. Mania exasperant\u0103 de a discuta absolut orice \u00een mijloacele de transport \u00een comun, familiarit\u0103\u0163i, intimit\u0103\u0163i, secrete \u015fi nemul\u0163umiri m\u0103rturisite oricui, chiar \u015fi \u2013 ori mai ales \u2013 necunoscu\u0163ilor (sau, mai nou, telefoanelor mobile, spre informarea \u00eentregului autobuz), chiar \u015fi \u201evia\u0163a-mea-e-un-roman\u201d de povestit \u00eentre dou\u0103 sta\u0163ii \u2013 exasperant\u0103: pentru condi\u0163iile urbane de transport. (Dar poate ca aici s\u0103 fie \u015fi reminiscen\u0163ele vechilor mahalale.) Reflexul de a striga, amplificat printre blocuri, \u00een locul tonului de adresare celui aflat foarte aproape. Impulsul de a te opri \u00een drum ori la vreo intrare-ie\u015fire, cum se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 foarte adesea, bloc\u00e2nd circula\u0163ia. Injuria \u201e\u0163\u0103rane!\u201d, care \u00ee\u015fi cap\u0103t\u0103 explica\u0163ia \u00een versiunea extins\u0103: \u201e\u0163\u0103ran la ora\u015f\u201d. Kitschul \u00eenfloritor din Bucure\u015fti, \u00een vestimenta\u0163ie, \u00een arhitectur\u0103 \u015fi \u00een decora\u0163iunile interioare: casele \u015fi vilele renovate \u00een roz \u015fi blocurile recondi\u0163ionate termic \u00een combina\u0163ii de maro cu fistic, flagelul termopanelor, al rigipsurilor \u015fi al \u201espoturilor\u201d din \u201earcade\u201d, demolarea zidurilor din apartamente (un mediu predilect de atac al kitschului fiind, se \u015ftie, cel al str\u0103muta\u0163ilor de la \u0163ar\u0103 la ora\u015f). \u015e.c.l.<br \/>\nAcum mai mul\u0163i ani am asistat la o alt\u0103 scen\u0103 care m-a surprins. O b\u0103tr\u00e2n\u0103 (\u00eembr\u0103cat\u0103 \u0163\u0103r\u0103ne\u015fte) a pierdut anun\u0163ul de sta\u0163ie din difuzoare \u015fi astfel ocazia de a cobor\u00ee din metrou. A \u00eenceput s\u0103 pl\u00e2ng\u0103, \u00een timp ce o nepoat\u0103 \u00eencerca s\u0103 o lini\u015fteasc\u0103.
