Verbul creator red\u0103 cu fidelitate caracterul supliciant propriu acestei ambian\u0163e. Sim\u0163urile se ascut, se pietrific\u0103, contondentul caracteriz\u00e2nd un statut problematic al fiin\u0163\u0103rii, unde nici evad\u0103rile spre transcendent nu mai sunt viabile: \u201ela Cina cea de tain\u0103\/ nu voi fi prezent\/ din p\u00e2ine nu voi rupe\/ din vin nu voi lua parte\/ carnea \u015fi s\u00e2ngele T\u0103u\/ foamea \u015fi setea nu-mi vor potoli\/\/ carnea \u015fi s\u00e2ngele T\u0103u\/ carnea \u015fi s\u00e2ngele T\u0103u\/\/ s\u00eent carnea \u015fi s\u00e2ngele T\u0103u\u201c. Nocturnul pare s\u0103 acapareze totalitatea traseelor cotidiene, ceea ce creeaz\u0103 senza\u0163ia unui pece\u0163i bacoviene, ap\u0103s\u0103toare paradigm\u0103 a simbolurilor obscurit\u0103\u0163ii: \u201eafar\u0103 era cea\u0163\u0103\/ perdeaua \u00een\u015felat\u0103 \u00eenchipuia fantome\/ lebede cum cad r\u0103stignite\/ ucise de-o ploaie de raze\/\/ din turnuri se vede pustiul\/ pas cu pas mai aproape de ziduri\/ \u2013 mai am sau nu o iubit\u0103 \u2013 \/ chipul\/ acum \u00een\u0163eleg\/ uneori m\u0103-nsp\u0103im\u00e2nt\u0103\/ cu \u00eencremenirile lui de statuie\/\/ deodat\u0103\/ sunt liber\/ \u00eembr\u0103cat \u00eentr-o umbr\u0103\u201c. Morganatice extensiuni ale con\u015ftiin\u0163ei artistice vin s\u0103 realizeze saltul. Golul istoric flancheaz\u0103 aceste ap\u0103s\u0103toare versuri afine dezintegr\u0103rii. Urm\u0103toarele poeme, reunite sub titlul Inelul cu agat, amintesc de profunzimile liricii magistrului Mihai Ursachi, creatorul acelui volum de referin\u0163\u0103, Inel cu enigm\u0103. Iat\u0103, la Cassian Maria Spiridon, un spa\u0163iu al enigmelor nedisimulate, p\u0103zite de Lun\u0103: \u201ecet\u0103\u0163i ce \u00eenzidesc imperiul\/ stau pe creste \u00een risip\u0103\/ ai via\u0163a luminat\u0103 de stele-ntunecate\/ \u015fi \u00eendrumat\u0103\/ de voci din subteran\u0103\u201c. Aici, iubirile \u00ee\u015fi pot asuma romantismul. Au loc geneze (h)ermetice pe fondul cromatic al profunzimilor. Versul se \u00eempotrive\u015fte extinc\u0163iei \u00eentr-o procesiune cuprinz\u00e2nd stele, iluzii \u015fi s\u00e2nge, fantasme ce invoc\u0103 zorii. O mistic\u0103 numire a imensit\u0103\u0163ilor fluide protejeaz\u0103 expansiunea sentimentelor, act cu v\u0103dite conota\u0163ii soteriologice. Dar spaimele nu dispar, pres\u0103rate pe parcursul unei problematizante situ\u0103ri \u00eentre imaginar \u015fi real. Sunt c\u0103utate urme ancestrale, beneficiind de protec\u0163ia inelului cu agat, comuniune cu zeii protectori ai spiritului. Ca jarul aruncat \u00een n\u0103me\u0163i, al treilea ciclu poetic, subliniaz\u0103 revenirea sentimentului de Weltschmerz, cu \u00eendoielile aferente: \u201eumede\/ dealurile s\u00eent \u00eembr\u0103cate \u00een verde\/ umbra-nser\u0103rii e tot mai r\u0103coroas\u0103\/ st\u0103m risipi\u0163i la mesele ploii\/ ne\u00eendur\u0103tori urm\u0103rim\/ mi\u015fc\u0103rile frunzei\/ c\u0103derea\u201c. Un ata\u015fant tip de paseism moldav confer\u0103 textelor speciale\u00a0 profunzimi. Prezentul eviden\u0163iaz\u0103 periculoase spectre f\u0103r\u0103 anvergur\u0103: \u201ece b\u0103rbi despicate\/ ce frun\u0163i dezgolite\/ ce inimi golite\/ ce m\u00e2ini \u00eembl\u0103nite\/ ne fac \u015fi desfac viitorul\u201c. Dar, peste toate estetiz\u0103rile, persist\u0103 funciara \u00eenstr\u0103inare, obscuritate existen\u0163ial\u0103 h\u0103r\u0163uind lumina: \u201ecine \u00een a\u015fa p\u0103m\u00e2ntesc\u0103\/ am\u00e2nare\/ c\u00e2nd anotimpul \u00ee\u015fi refuz\u0103 prezen\u0163a\/ n-ar dori s\u0103 renun\u0163e\/ s\u0103-\u015fi lepede gloria\/ lespedea ei efemer\u0103\/ s\u0103 fie doar frunz\u0103\/ culcat\u0103 pe glie\/ s\u0103 fie doar humusul\/ cel hr\u0103nitor\/ noi \u00eembuiba\u0163i cu iluzii\/ s\u00eentem \u00eendestul\u0103 haleal\u0103\/ viermelui biruitor\u201c. Heraclit din Efes, Dante, r\u0103zboinicul Ares sau Thales milesianul, iat\u0103 numai unele dintre figurile paradigmatice care \u00eenso\u0163esc aceast\u0103 curgere \u00eenvolburat\u0103. C\u0103ut\u0103rile poart\u0103 uria\u015fe poveri, supliciante pentru suflet. Pluralitatea autoscopiilor \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103-\u015fi croiasc\u0103 drum prin viscerele destinului. Poemele lui Cassian Maria Spiridon resimt cu maxim\u0103 acuitate opacitatea \u00eenconjur\u0103toare, rezultant\u0103 a statutului existen\u0163ial de aruncat \u00een lume.
