Grupul din \u201eLa trottinette de Lisa\u201c duce la \u201eConcertul din ou\u201c \u015fi la Bosch. Chiar \u015fi \u00eentr-un portret feminin mai conven\u0163ional reprezentat, desenul aminte\u015fte de Eva din \u201eGr\u0103dina Deliciilor P\u0103m\u00e2nte\u015fti\u201c.<br \/>\nMai multe lucr\u0103ri semnate de George Mazilu au fost prezentate la Pavilionul Art Safari de la Bucure\u015fti de Galeria 9 din Cluj-Napoca. Cu o activitate expozi\u0163ional\u0103 recent\u0103 sus\u0163inut\u0103 predominat \u00een Fran\u0163a (Galeria Samagra) \u015fi Statele Unite (Turner Carroll Gallery sau Thomas Masters Gallery), estimarea pentru o pictur\u0103 a lui Mazilu, pe pia\u0163a interna\u0163ional\u0103, se situeaz\u0103 \u00eentr-un interval de 5.000-15.000 de euro. Artistul este mai pu\u0163in cunoscut publicului din Rom\u00e2nia. Singurele lucr\u0103ri semnate de el \u015fi ap\u0103rute pe pia\u0163a de art\u0103 din \u0163ar\u0103 au fost tranzac\u0163ionate de casa de licita\u0163ii Quadro din Cluj, cu aproximativ o lun\u0103 \u00een urm\u0103. Dou\u0103 desene \u00een creion, \u00een aceea\u015fi not\u0103 a suprarealismului contemporan cu influen\u0163e directe din Rena\u015fterea nordic\u0103, au \u00eenregistrat o adjudecare la valoare de 400 de euro fiecare.<br \/>\n<strong>Input \u015fi asimilare<\/strong><br \/>\nMazilu este recunoscut interna\u0163ional \u00een special pentru varietatea de influen\u0163e artistice (Bruegel, Bosch, Vel\u00e1zquez, Goya), dar \u015fi pentru \u00eenscrierea \u00eentr-un suprarealism contemporan cu accente de fantastic \u015fi absurd. N\u0103scut \u00een 1951 \u015fi plecat din \u0163ar\u0103 \u00een 1982, lui George Mazilu i s-a atribuit o reac\u0163ie artistic\u0103 la mediul politic \u00een care a tr\u0103it \u00een Rom\u00e2nia.
